Welcome to McGregor Primary, a place where students in pre-k through first grade are prepared to become productive, contributing citizens in a global society. At McGregor Primary, we are committed to our goals and, most importantly, to our students. We strive daily to instill in our students the necessary skills for them to reach their full learning potential.
Our focus is on "little minds hard at work" at McGregor Primary. We have five blocks to help build our success. Those include curriculum, character, communication, collaboration, and community. Each one is interdependent on the other. We attribute each of our successes to the commitment, hard work, dedication, and teamwork of our school staff.
We are continuously evolving to meet our students' needs while maintaining a loving and nurturing environment for all. Our goal is to produce a well-rounded student focusing on academics, fostering self-confidence, independence, and leadership in an atmosphere of shared mutual respect between teacher and student. We also seek to instill a love of life-long learning and community involvement through service projects for each grade level.
We are working with our most important resource, our children. By working together collaboratively with parents, staff, and community members, we feel we can better assist our students in becoming successful learners. They will be our future leaders and we want to provide them with everything they need to be successful now and in the years ahead as they move into adulthood.
